This powerhouse processor is in great condition, in a smoke free environment all it's life. The AV8003 is still a respected old-school pre/pro: solid Marantz build, good multichannel analogue stages, Audyssey room correction, and a feature set that made sense in a serious home-theatre rig. The upside here is condition—if it’s truly clean, fully functional, and includes the remote plus setup mic, that matters more than flashy spec-sheet age. Just make sure HDMI and digital inputs behave properly, since with units this vintage those are the parts worth checking first.
