Focusrite Audio Interface rot

Focusrite traces its origins to 1985 in England, when legendary audio engineer Rupert Neve founded the company in response to a commission from Sir George Martin for custom console modules at AIR Studios. Neve's initial creations, including the renowned ISA-series transformer-coupled mic preamps and EQs, established Focusrite as a purveyor of elite analog studio gear. In 1989, Phil Dudderidge acquired the assets, reissuing the ISA line and steering the brand toward broader innovation while preserving its premium heritage.

The company specializes in professional recording tools, with a core focus on audio interfaces, microphone preamps, channel strips, consoles, and digital processing hardware and software. Its Scarlett series of USB interfaces has become a cornerstone, democratizing studio-quality audio for home and project setups, while Pro lines like the ISA maintain high-end analog purity. Through acquisitions, Focusrite now encompasses brands like Novation for synths, ADAM Audio for monitors, and Martin Audio for live sound.

Focusrite holds a commanding mid-tier position in the pro audio market, blending accessible excellence with pro-grade performance trusted in world-class studios and home rigs alike. No longer a niche boutique, it dominates as a global leader—selling millions of Scarlett units—appealing to discerning creators who demand reliability without audiophile excess.
