Offered is „Tara Labs RSC Air2 Series 2 RCA 1,5m“ by Taralabs as second-hand device from the category „Cinch Cable (Analog)“ on audio-markt.de - the online market place for high-end. The advert with the number 3931655774 ends on 07.12.2026 at 10:02 o'clock.
Tara Labs’ RSC Air 2 sits among the company’s serious, highly transparent interconnects, with a reputation for an open, airy presentation and strong build quality. At EUR 850, this is difficult to call a bargain: surviving used examples appear substantially lower, roughly around EUR 200–300 before shipping, so the asking price looks ambitious unless this is an unusually long, immaculate, boxed pair or a particularly desirable termination.
The appeal is its revealing, neutral balance: plenty of spatial detail, clean leading edges, and good separation without an obviously warm coloration. The locking RCA connectors are a worthwhile practical touch, though the cable can be fairly stiff and needs room behind the rack. At this price, verify the exact length, RCA/XLR termination, originality of the connectors, and whether the box or provenance is included; otherwise, negotiating toward the mid-hundreds would make far more sense.

Tara Labs, known formally as The Absolute Reference Audio Labs, traces its origins to 1984 when Australian innovator Matthew Bond founded the company in Sydney. Bond pioneered the first successful single solid-core conductor for audio cables, revolutionizing design with breakthroughs like the Phase II speaker cable in 1988. By 1986, the brand established its manufacturing base in Medford, Oregon, USA, where it has operated ever since under the leadership of president Merrill Bergs, blending Bond's foundational inventions with ongoing refinements.
The company specializes exclusively in high-end audio cables, including interconnects, speaker cables, and subwoofer cables. All products are custom hand-crafted in their Southern Oregon facility using solid-core wire and proprietary technologies such as the ZERO Evolution interconnect and OMEGA speaker cable. Tara Labs emphasizes meticulous, lifetime-guaranteed construction, avoiding diversification into amplifiers, speakers, or other categories.
Positioned firmly in the ultra-premium niche of the hi-fi market, Tara Labs commands respect among discerning audiophiles for its unmatched record of awards, reviews, and innovations over nearly four decades. It leads as a boutique cable authority, hand-crafting reference-grade solutions that reveal subtle nuances in attack, sustain, and high-frequency detail, though recent visibility in magazines has waned following key designer changes.
