Seller's Description

Vienna Acoustics Mozart Grand Floorstanding Loudspeakers Symphony Edition. Purchased new from Apollo Hifi Marrickville five years ago for $5500. These are wonderful balanced loudspeakers, with a smooth presentation that does not become fatiguing. Bass extension is deep enough to obviate the need for a subwoofer.   4 ohm load, 90db efficient means they can be driven with modest power- I have had excellent results with a tube amp and 30 watt Class A amp.    There are some small marks due to the design of the grills, but they are not noticeable once set up. Our Thoughts RADAR AI

A$2,300 is on the ambitious side for this model in the used market, though not wildly out of line if the pair is genuinely immaculate and complete. Comparable used Mozart Grand listings have landed around A$1,600–A$1,800 plus shipping, while current new/retail pricing for the Symphony Edition sits far higher, so this asking price is more “premium used” than bargain territory.

What keeps it interesting is the usual Vienna Acoustics appeal: refined midrange, easy musical flow, and a beautifully finished cabinet that tends to age well visually. The 4-ohm, 90 dB design is generally friendly with a solid integrated or power amp, and the wide, elegant presentation is the real draw here. At this price, I’d want confirmation of original spikes/grilles and clean driver surrounds, but a tidy, well-kept pair is still a credible buy.
