Speakers are in mint condition functionally and cosmetically very good – one small scrape on the face of one speaker above the Uni-Q driver, only spotted this when taking the photos in bright lighting (it is the left speaker in the shot with all 3, last photo shows it up close against light reflection). They have been used for my LCR setup in the living room and have never been flogged too hard, always crossed over at 100 Hz and run with a pair of SVS PB1000 Subs that I sold here a few week
The timing matters a bit here because this is a current-generation LS50 Meta rather than an older LS50, so you’re buying the better-tuned version of a very established small-monitor design. Against your own market anchor, A$2,000 is clearly above the A$1,474 75th percentile, so this reads as ambitious, not fair-value territory.
That said, the model is well regarded for its pinpoint imaging, clean midrange, and unusually deep bass for a compact standmount, and like_new condition is a real plus if it’s complete and carefully used. At this price I’d want the full package to be strong—original boxes, grilles, and no finish damage—but if everything checks out, it’s still a classy speaker for a buyer who values performance over bargain hunting.
