Offered is „Genesis IA3“ by YBA as second-hand device from the category „Transistor-Fullamp“ on audio-markt.de - the online market place for high-end. The advert with the number 950112436 ends on 08.12.2026 at 11:36 o'clock.
The IA3 is a notably capable, modern-featured YBA integrated rather than a merely conventional amplifier. At €1,100, it is a strong deal: that is well below the €2,063 25th-percentile figure from 92 comparable listings, and dramatically under the €3,494 median. It sits comfortably in bargain territory rather than simply being “fair.”
Its appeal is the combination of YBA’s clean, transparent, dynamically assured presentation with useful real-world power—around 105 watts per channel into 8 ohms—and a built-in DAC, USB, coaxial, balanced input, Bluetooth, and pre-out. That makes it unusually versatile for a high-end integrated and suitable for a broad range of speakers. Assuming “good” condition means fully working and the remote, power cable, and original accessories are present, this is an easy recommendation at €1,100; check input switching, Bluetooth, display, and both channels before purchase.

Founded in 1981 by Yves Bernard André, an electronics professor, YBA emerged from France as a beacon of passionate hi-fi innovation. André's designs embodied a quintessentially French flair—quirky yet brilliant—prioritizing simplicity, durability, and unadulterated musicality that captivated journalists and audiophiles alike. This heritage of precision and purity propelled the brand through decades of acclaim, earning international awards while steadfastly pursuing the ideal of sound so transparent it fades into the music itself.
YBA specializes in high-end electronics, with a core focus on amplifiers, preamplifiers, integrated amps, CD players, DACs, phono stages, and streaming devices across ranges like Design, Heritage, Passion, Signature, and Genesis. Custom French-made components such as connectors, transformers, cables, resistors, and solder underscore their commitment to reliability. While not delving into speakers, turntables, or headphones, their catalog emphasizes amplification and digital sources that deliver clarity and extraordinary musical engagement.
Positioned firmly in the high-end market, YBA blends boutique French design ethos with robust manufacturing scale, following Shanling's 2009 acquisition that preserved André's involvement and relaunched the brand internationally in 2012. Today, products remain "Designed in France, made with Passion," commanding respect among discerning buyers for their aesthetic appeal and sonic refinement, though production largely occurs in China. This evolution secures YBA's enduring niche as a sought-after name in premium hi-fi.
