Offered is „MCD600 SACD/ CD Player“ by McIntosh as second-hand device from the category „SACD+DVD-Audio Player“ on audio-markt.de - the online market place for high-end. The advert with the number 2545837770 ends on 08.12.2026 at 16:59 o'clock.
In good condition, €7,990 is ambitious rather than a bargain: it sits above the recent comparable median of €6,246 and the 75th percentile of €7,118. It is a premium ask for a clean example, so value depends on complete accessories, excellent cosmetics, and convincing proof that the transport and outputs perform properly.
The MCD600 remains a desirable all-in-one digital source: it handles CD and SACD, includes a capable Quad Balanced DAC, USB and digital inputs, headphone output, and both fixed and variable RCA/XLR outputs, allowing direct connection to a power amplifier. Its flexibility and substantial build are genuine strengths, but at this price the listing should ideally include the original remote, packaging, and service history. A buyer would have stronger negotiating ground closer to €6,500–€7,100.
