Across 17 recent comparable listings, the median asking price is €176, with the upper quartile at €280. At €280, this sits right at the top of the observed range rather than looking like a bargain; it is fair only if the set is genuinely complete, very clean, and fully tested.
The Concept C remains a useful compact 2.1 system: its active subwoofer delivers substantial, controlled bass, while the satellites give clear mids and treble. Bluetooth, USB audio, digital and analogue inputs, plus the puck remote make it unusually versatile for a desk, TV, or gaming setup. At this price, insist on the complete set, remote, cables, and a demonstration of both channels, subwoofer, inputs, and wireless connection. If anything is missing or intermittent, negotiate firmly toward the €176 median.

Teufel is a German audio brand with roots in Berlin, where it was founded in 1979 by Carl Teufel. Emerging during the heyday of home hi-fi enthusiasm, the company built its heritage on engineering-driven innovation, initially focusing on custom speaker designs that prioritized precision and dynamic sound reproduction for discerning listeners.
The brand excels in active speakers and soundbars, alongside wireless multi-room systems, headphones, and portable Bluetooth options. While not delving into amplifiers, turntables, DACs, or cables, Teufel emphasizes integrated solutions with built-in amplification and app-controlled streaming, catering to modern home entertainment setups.
Positioned as a mid-tier contender with premium aspirations, Teufel enjoys a strong reputation in Europe for delivering high-value performance—bold bass, spacious imaging, and robust build quality—that punches above its price point. It appeals to knowledgeable buyers seeking reliable, stylish hi-fi without ultra-high-end excess, holding a solid niche in the competitive consumer audio market.
