A$160 is reasonable to good rather than a steal for this unit, especially since the V-Link II was a modestly priced accessory when new and comparable used asks I’d expect to land around the low-A$100s to A$150-ish range for a clean piece. At A$160, this is close enough to fair-market that I’d judge it on condition and completeness more than on absolute price.
What makes it worthwhile is simple: it’s a well-regarded little USB-to-S/PDIF bridge that can cleanly feed an outboard DAC from a computer, with coax and optical outputs and support up to 24-bit/96 kHz.
