Offered is „MA 8950“ by McIntosh from the category „Fully integrated Amplifier“ on audio-markt.de - the online market place for high-end. The advert with the number 9728542944 ends on 10.12.2026 at 17:19 o'clock.
New, the McIntosh MA8950 sits around €16,800, so €7,000 used is exceptionally attractive. It is well below the €7,766 25th-percentile comparable, versus a €8,532 median and €8,913 75th percentile—firmly a bargain rather than merely fair value.
The MA8950 remains a highly capable integrated: 200 watts per channel into 2, 4, or 8 ohms, substantial current delivery via McIntosh autoformers, a useful MM/MC phono stage, five-band tone controls, and the versatile DA2 module with USB, coaxial, optical, MCT, and HDMI ARC inputs. It is the sort of amplifier that can anchor a serious system for years, combining effortless drive with unusually broad connectivity. At this price, assuming the “good” condition is accurate and the remote, DA2 module, paperwork, and original packaging are present, this looks like a genuine buying opportunity.
