At A$201, this is clearly above the 75th percentile, so the asking price is ambitious rather than a compelling used bargain. It would need unusually strong provenance or exceptionally clean, complete condition to justify paying that premium.
The FONO MINI A2D remains a well-regarded compact phono stage: simple, musically engaging, and particularly useful if you need both analogue output and USB digitising for records. Its modest size and straightforward operation are genuine strengths, but the feature set is no longer rare enough to support a large premium over typical examples. Unless it is mint, boxed, and supplied with all original accessories, negotiating toward the A$150–A$165 area would make more sense.
