Seller's Description

Rosson Audio Rad-0 Headphones - Over/On Ear Up for sale are my Dan Clark Audio Aeon 2 Noire Headphones. Great headphones in as new condition. Purchased last year and rarely used as I have not been travelling as much as I expected. RRP for these is $1,595.  These sound great, are very light, and fold up to a surprisingly small size. Personally, I prefer these to the newer, more expensive, DCA E3s (which I find to bright), but each to their own! It is definitely a Harman tuning.  Comes with the original packaging, including the 'tuning kit' which are essentially some foam you can insert to adjus

Our Thoughts RADAR AI

What you should be asking is: is A$750 a fair shot at a genuinely good planar headphone, or are you paying up? Against your own recent AUD comps, this sits below the A$867 median and comfortably inside the normal used band, so it reads as a fair-to-good buy rather than a stretch.

That makes sense for a model that’s well-liked for its refined tuning, strong detail, and comfort-focused build; it’s the kind of headphone people buy to keep, not flip. A like new listing is especially appealing here if the pads, cable, and headband are intact, because clean examples tend to hold value well and give you the full performance without the usual used-market wear worries.

About Dan Clark Audio

Dan Clark Audio, originally founded as MrSpeakers in 2012 by audio engineer Dan Clark in San Diego, California, traces its roots to the founder's lifelong passion for sound that began in childhood. With a background including work on Monitor Audio's premium Platinum Series speakers in the late 1990s and early headphone modifications for audiophiles, Clark bootstrapped the company through those sales, avoiding loans or investors to fund independent research and development.

The brand specializes exclusively in high-end planar magnetic headphones, offering both open-back and closed-back models renowned for innovative driver technology, such as proprietary designs protected by multiple US patents. Standouts include early releases like the Mad Dog and ETHER, alongside modern flagships emphasizing balanced acoustics, exceptional comfort, and lightweight engineering—handmade in the USA without venturing into amplifiers, speakers, or other categories.

Positioned as a niche boutique leader in the ultra-premium headphone market, Dan Clark Audio commands respect among discerning audiophiles for its relentless pursuit of perfection, earning accolades from Hi-Fi+, The Absolute Sound, HFN, and The New York Times Wirecutter. Renamed in 2019, it prioritizes value-driven excellence over mass production, solidifying its status as an innovator in personal audio.
