At €149, this is a strong bargain versus the usual used market: it sits well below the €194 25th-percentile mark and far under the €255 median from five comparable listings. For an excellent-condition example, that is unusually attractive rather than merely fair.
The T 10 is a capable, versatile active subwoofer, with a 250 mm driver, 150-watt Class D amplification, adjustable phase and the option to run front-firing or down-firing. It suits both home cinema and stereo, adding substantial low-end weight without demanding a huge room. Check that the auto-on function, controls and driver are operating cleanly, and confirm whether the needed subwoofer cable or compatible wireless hardware is included; otherwise, this looks like an easy recommendation at €149.
Independent perspective — not a price guarantee. Always verify condition, accessories and provenance before purchase.
Teufel is a German audio brand with roots in Berlin, where it was founded in 1979 by Carl Teufel. Emerging during the heyday of home hi-fi enthusiasm, the company built its heritage on engineering-driven innovation, initially focusing on custom speaker designs that prioritized precision and dynamic sound reproduction for discerning listeners.
The brand excels in active speakers and soundbars, alongside wireless multi-room systems, headphones, and portable Bluetooth options. While not delving into amplifiers, turntables, DACs, or cables, Teufel emphasizes integrated solutions with built-in amplification and app-controlled streaming, catering to modern home entertainment setups.
Positioned as a mid-tier contender with premium aspirations, Teufel enjoys a strong reputation in Europe for delivering high-value performance—bold bass, spacious imaging, and robust build quality—that punches above its price point. It appeals to knowledgeable buyers seeking reliable, stylish hi-fi without ultra-high-end excess, holding a solid niche in the competitive consumer audio market.
