Offered is „nordost valhalla 2“ by Nordost as second-hand device from the category „Cable, Power Distributor + Filter“ on audio-markt.de - the online market place for high-end. The advert with the number 5901780957 ends on 13.12.2026 at 17:19 o'clock.
The Valhalla 2 is a genuinely notable reference-level power cable, and at €1,900 it looks like a bargain rather than merely a fair buy. Your 26-comparable sample puts the 25th percentile at €2,393, the median at €3,536, and the 75th percentile at €4,682, so this sits comfortably below the lower quartile. For a clean, correctly terminated EU example, that is excellent value.
Its appeal is the combination of very high resolution, speed, transient precision, and a polished, controlled presentation, underpinned by solid silver-plated conductors, FEP insulation, and Nordost’s Dual Mono-Filament construction. The main practical checks are simply connector type, length, and authenticity; assuming those are right and “good” condition is accurate, there is little reason to push back at this price. It is a strong system-upgrade candidate and a particularly attractive entry into Valhalla 2.

Nordost, an American high-end audio brand, traces its origins to 1991 when it was founded in Massachusetts, just outside Boston. From the outset, the company committed to designing, engineering, and manufacturing all products exclusively in the United States, drawing on aerospace-derived technologies like conductor solutions to pioneer its signature flat cable geometry. This Northeast-rooted heritage—reflected even in the brand's name, meaning "northeast" in Scandinavian languages—has defined Nordost as a beacon of innovation in signal preservation for over three decades.
The brand specializes in premium hi-fi cables and accessories, including speaker cables, interconnects, digital cables, power cords, and video transmission lines. Nordost employs advanced techniques such as Micro Mono-Filament construction and mechanically tuned lengths to minimize distortion and maximize fidelity. Beyond cables, its lineup extends to power distribution systems, grounding solutions, and resonance control devices, forming a comprehensive ecosystem that enhances the entire audio chain without venturing into amplifiers, speakers, or turntables.
Renowned among audiophiles worldwide, Nordost occupies a premium niche in the high-end market, celebrated for revolutionary designs that deliver unadulterated sound. From accessible Leif series entry points to exotic Valhalla and Odin flagships, its products command respect in over 60 countries, positioning the brand as a go-to for discerning buyers seeking boundary-pushing performance and uncompromising quality.
