The upside is that this is the sort of amp buyers chase for strong current delivery, grip, and refinement, so a clean excellent example can still make sense if you want a finished, no-compromise solid-state piece. I’d want confidence on provenance, service history, and included extras, because at this level the premium is justified by condition and completeness more than by the model name alone.
