ASW has a strong reputation as a German specialist loudspeaker maker, but this listing does not identify the model clearly enough for a model-specific benchmark. Even so, €65 is an excellent price against the comparable market: it sits below the €75 25th percentile and well under the €123 median, making it a genuine bargain if this is a working pair rather than a single cabinet.
The appeal is ASW’s generally careful construction and natural, musical presentation; the brand’s Cantius, Sonus, and Genius lines have long attracted enthusiasts seeking substantial sound without mainstream-brand pricing. Before buying, confirm the exact model, that both speakers are included, and that all drivers produce clean sound without rubbing, distortion, or deteriorated surrounds. With those basics verified, €65 leaves considerable upside and is difficult to fault.

ASW appears to be a German loudspeaker brand founded in 1987 in Vreden, Germany; the available source identifies it as ASW Lautsprecher GmbH and describes it as a respected German speaker maker. The founder is not clearly established in the material provided, so that detail is best left unconfirmed rather than guessed.
Its core focus is loudspeakers, especially hi-fi speaker systems rather than a broad electronics lineup. The search results do not support claims that ASW is known for amplifiers, turntables, DACs, headphones, or cables, and the brand is not presented as a full-range audio manufacturer.
In market terms, ASW sits in the niche specialist to upper-mid/high-end segment of the loudspeaker world. It seems to be a brand valued by knowledgeable hi-fi buyers more for engineering credibility and speaker design than for mass-market visibility, and it is not especially well documented in the sources here.
