Compared with buying a smaller smart display at this money, €180 is the upper end of the market rather than a bargain. Your 13 comparable listings put the median at €72 and the 75th percentile at €180, so this asking price is fair only if the unit is genuinely clean and complete—not an obvious overpay, but certainly not a strong deal.
The first-generation Echo Show 15 remains appealing for its large 15.6-inch Full HD screen, useful widgets, Alexa control, video calling, and wall-mounted kitchen or family-dashboard role. It also includes the wall-mount hardware, while stands are separate accessories, so check that the original bracket, power supply, and any advertised extras are present. At €180, confirm the touchscreen responds reliably, the display has no dead areas, and the camera and speakers work; otherwise, negotiate toward the median rather than paying the full asking price.

Display Technologies does not appear to be a recognized brand in the hi-fi or consumer audio industry. Extensive searches yield no verifiable information on its origin, heritage, product focus, or market position among audio enthusiasts. Instead, results consistently reference general advancements in visual display technology, such as cathode ray tubes, LCDs, LEDs, and OLEDs, spanning from the late 19th century to modern innovations.
No records indicate a company by this name producing amplifiers, speakers, turntables, DACs, headphones, cables, or any audio equipment. It may be an obscure entity, a misnomer, or unrelated to hi-fi, with no notable founding year, country, or founder tied to sound reproduction.
Hi-fi buyers should verify the brand name or consider established alternatives, as fabricating details for an unconfirmed marque would mislead. If this refers to a specific niche player, further details from the querier could clarify.
