Offered is „Magma SE“ by NAT as second-hand device from the category „Tube-Poweramp“ on audio-markt.de - the online market place for high-end. The advert with the number 4858426589 ends on 18.12.2026 at 15:31 o'clock.
At €11,500, this is an ambitious asking price rather than a bargain: it sits almost exactly at the 75th percentile of €10,581 and well above the €5,719 median for 18 comparable used listings. It can still be defensible for an unusually complete, serviced, or rare example, but the premium needs to be supported by provenance and configuration.
The Magma SE is a genuinely distinctive high-power single-ended tube amplifier, combining Class-A drive, a short signal path, and zero-feedback design with unusually forceful dynamics for SET equipment. Its appeal is the large, immediate presentation, natural tone, and strong transparency—especially with demanding loudspeakers that would overwhelm conventional low-power triode amplifiers. Before committing at this level, confirm tube health, service history, matching monoblock condition, and exactly which upgraded terminals or accessories are included.
Independent perspective — not a price guarantee. Always verify condition, accessories and provenance before purchase.
NAT Audio, a boutique high-end audio brand from Serbia, has earned a devoted following among tube enthusiasts for its handcrafted electronics. Emerging in the early 21st century, the company embodies Eastern European precision in vacuum-tube design, with products often hailed as "giant killers" for outperforming far pricier competitors in audiophile forums. Though specifics on its founding year and principals remain elusive in mainstream records, NAT Audio's heritage lies in Serbia's niche tradition of innovative, small-batch amplification.
The brand focuses exclusively on premium tube and hybrid electronics, specializing in single-ended topology and pure Class A circuits that prioritize audio purity. Their lineup features standout amplifiers like the SE2SE 75W/channel 211 SET monoblocks, using rare NOS tubes such as 1948 GE 211s, alongside two-box preamplifiers like the Utopia, and precision phono stages. This emphasis on meticulous, point-to-point wiring and innovative tube implementations sets them apart from mass-produced gear.
Positioned as a niche boutique in the ultra-high-end market, NAT Audio commands respect from discerning buyers seeking emotional, lifelike sound over hype. Far from mid-tier or vintage revivalists, their Serbian-made wonders deliver SET magic at accessible prices, often replacing legendary setups in passionate collections. For the knowledgeable hi-fi buyer, NAT Audio represents uncompromised tradition fused with subtle innovation.
