Door inruil verkregen. Zo goed als nieuw, een 3 meter lange boaacoustic speakerkabel. Wisselbare spades-bananen. Verzilverd materiaal. Nieuw 1799 euro. Nu voor 950 euro.
Unknown condition makes the price harder to judge, but €950 is clearly ambitious against the supplied used-market comparables: it is more than three times the €220 median and well above the €317 75th percentile. That said, these figures may mix broader Argon Audio listings rather than this exact cable, so the benchmark is not perfectly like-for-like; verify the model and whether €950 covers a complete 3.0 m pair.
The Evolution BLACK.sonic-25 is a serious, high-end speaker-cable package, with substantial conductors, heavy construction, and interchangeable banana and spade terminations. Its new price is genuinely high, so a clean, complete example with both connector sets and original packaging could justify a premium. Still, at €950, condition and completeness need to be excellent, and there should be room to negotiate; otherwise, this is a specialist purchase rather than an obvious used-market bargain.

Argon Audio traces its roots to Denmark around the turn of the century, emerging as the in-house brand of HiFi Klubben, the revered Scandinavian audio retailer founded in 1983 by Peter Lyngdorf—also the force behind Dali and Lyngdorf. Initially led by audio enthusiast Klaus Philipsen, the brand prioritized uncompromising value for money, engineering high-performance products at accessible prices. It gained independence in 2019 under Nordic HiFi, evolving from HiFi Klubben's subsidiary while retaining its Danish heritage of innovation and no-nonsense design.
The brand excels in entry-level hi-fi essentials, with early hits like the DAB1 tabletop radio and iNet2—pioneering Spotify Connect integration—paving the way for its current lineup. Today, Argon Audio dominates affordable active speakers, including market-leading all-in-one models like the 7340A and 7350A, alongside turntables, wireless and connected speakers, radios, and subwoofers. All products are developed and engineered in Denmark, blending Scandinavian aesthetics with modern features such as Bluetooth and vinyl playback optimized for beginners and enthusiasts alike.
Positioned firmly in the mid-tier market, Argon Audio punches above its weight, delivering sound quality that rivals pricier competitors without the premium markup. It's the go-to for savvy hi-fi buyers seeking reliable, innovative audio solutions that democratize great sound, leading Europe's affordable active speaker segment while upholding a legacy of excellence from Denmark's audio giants.
