Are you comfortable paying close to the top of the normal used range for a unit whose condition is unspecified? At £874, this is fair but slightly strong money: it sits just above the £833 median and almost exactly at the £880 75th percentile from 15 comparable listings. It is not a bargain, but it is not overpriced if the example is clean, complete, and in good working order.
The DMP-A6 Master Edition remains a particularly capable all-in-one streamer, DAC, and digital preamp, with dual ESS DACs, balanced XLR output, a responsive display, broad service support, and extensive format handling. Its app and software ecosystem are powerful, while the onboard volume control can simplify a system built around a power amplifier. At this price, confirm the remote, original packaging, accessories, and any included NVMe storage; excellent condition or remaining warranty would make £874 easier to justify.

Eversolo Audio Technology Co., Ltd., a Chinese brand backed by Zidoo Technology Co., Ltd., emerged in the mid-2010s with roots in seasoned HiFi expertise. Its core founding team brings years of experience in development and management across the industry, channeling that heritage into innovative audio solutions. Without a single standout founder, Eversolo draws strength from its collaborative R&D prowess, spanning audio decoding, analog circuits, acoustic tuning, amplifiers, and system integration.
The brand concentrates on digital HiFi essentials, excelling in network music streamers, high-resolution DACs, integrated amplifiers, and headphone amplifiers. Standouts like the DMP-A10 exemplify this focus, blending streaming versatility with premium digital-to-analog conversion and robust power amplification. Eversolo sidesteps entry-level gear, prioritizing playback devices that deliver cutting-edge performance without venturing into speakers, turntables, or cables.
Positioned firmly in the mid-range market with high-end aspirations, Eversolo earns acclaim for its sophisticated technology, precise manufacturing, and exceptional value. Audiophiles praise its neutral soundstaging, dynamic authority, and immersive realism, backed by global awards like EISA Hi-Fi Product of the Year. This rising contender appeals to discerning buyers seeking reliable, future-proof HiFi that punches above its price.
