The Nova150’s generation matters: it is a mature model, released around 2016, with a newer version now available, but it remains a highly capable integrated amplifier. At US$700, this listing is above the US$550 median yet still below the US$762 75th percentile, so the price is fair rather than a bargain—assuming it is fully functional and complete.
Its appeal is the unusually complete package: 150 watts per channel of Class D power, a well-regarded high-resolution ESS Sabre DAC, asynchronous USB, optical and coaxial inputs, MM phono, headphone output, pre-out, and home-theater bypass. It can anchor a digital-and-vinyl system without immediately needing extra boxes. Since condition is unspecified, confirm the remote, both USB inputs, phono operation, display, and quiet channel balance; at US$700, excellent cosmetic and operating condition should be expected.

Peachtree Audio emerged from Atlanta, Georgia, in 2007, when audio industry veterans Jim Spainhour and David Solomon launched their debut product: the groundbreaking Decco integrated amplifier. This was the world's first integrated amp with a USB input, enabling direct computer playback via its onboard DAC—a pioneering fusion of digital convenience and analog warmth that redefined entry-level hi-fi. Assembled and tested in their North Carolina facility, the brand quickly gained traction among enthusiasts seeking accessible high-performance audio.
The company focuses on integrated amplifiers and DACs that blend digital precision with musicality, alongside streamers, preamps, and powered speakers. Their lineup emphasizes simplicity, beauty, and superior sound, from the affordable Nova series to more advanced models, without venturing into turntables, headphones, or cables. In 2017, Peachtree marked its tenth anniversary with a "2.0" relaunch, introducing refined products that elevated their core strengths in compact, high-value amplification.
Peachtree occupies a solid mid-tier position in the hi-fi market, celebrated for delivering premium sound at approachable prices—think $800 wonders that punch above their weight. Far from high-end esoterica or vintage collector bait, they appeal to discerning buyers who prioritize performance over prestige, earning praise from outlets like Stereophile for their reboot and enduring appeal in a digital-first era.
