ART DJII Phono Preamp. Used a few times for personal turntable. Includes power supply. Sold As-Is.
Compared with buying the usual no-name phono stage at this money, this is a strong deal. At US$40, it sits below the comparable-listing 25th percentile of US$45 and well under the US$59 median, so it deserves bargain status rather than merely “fair” pricing.
The DJPre II is a genuinely useful little MM phono preamp: low-noise circuitry, adjustable gain, switchable 100/200 pF capacitance, and a defeatable low-cut filter give it more setup flexibility than many budget alternatives. It also has sensible RCA connectivity and a signal/clip indicator, making gain matching straightforward. The main thing to confirm is that the correct power supply is included and that the unit is working quietly; at this price, even a clean, tested example is an easy recommendation.

ART Loudspeakers, founded in 1998 in Troon, Scotland, embodies a proud heritage of British audio craftsmanship. Emerging from the same innovative stable as the iconic Systemdek turntables, the brand has honed its expertise in precision engineering and musical fidelity for over two decades. Handcrafted in Scotland, ART continues this legacy, blending artistry with cutting-edge technology to create components that honor the nation's storied tradition in high-end sound reproduction.
The company focuses primarily on loudspeakers, renowned for their vintage-inspired aesthetics and advanced bass reflex designs, such as the early ART One and ART Two models, alongside Deco-style offerings. Complementing these are meticulously paired Systemdek turntables, forming a cohesive ecosystem for analog enthusiasts. While not venturing into amplifiers, DACs, headphones, or cables, ART's speakers stand out for their fusion of form and function, often showcased with select German drivers and Japanese transformers.
Positioned as a niche boutique player in the high-end market, ART Loudspeakers commands respect among discerning audiophiles for their exceptional build quality and emotive performance. Though relatively obscure outside specialist circles, models like the Stiletto 6 and Emotion Monitors earn praise for revealing musical nuances with elegance, appealing to buyers seeking handcrafted excellence over mass-market volume.
