€250 is a fair asking price, sitting just above the €245 median and well below the €294 upper quartile for comparable used listings.
The Rokit 5 G4 is a capable, lively nearfield monitor with useful DSP room-EQ, balanced XLR/TRS inputs, front-firing ports, and solid output from its 5-inch drivers. The included stands and XLR cables add genuine convenience and value, making this a particularly tidy package for a desktop or small-room setup. Check that both speakers produce equal output without hum, hiss, distortion, or intermittent controls, and confirm the stands are stable and complete. At €250, assuming everything works properly, it is a sensible buy rather than a bargain—but the accessories make the deal more attractive than a speaker-only listing.

KRK Systems is an American studio-monitor brand founded in 1986 by film mix engineer Keith R. Klawitter; the name “KRK” comes from his initials. The company built its reputation in professional recording and post-production rather than domestic hi-fi, and it is now part of the Gibson family of brands based in Nashville, Tennessee.
KRK is best known for active studio monitors, subwoofers, and related monitoring speakers for producers, engineers, and content creators. Its product range also includes some headphones, but the brand is primarily associated with nearfield monitors such as the long-running ROKIT and CLASSIC lines, which emphasize clarity, detail, and translation in a mix room.
In market terms, KRK sits in the mid-tier to upper-mid-tier professional segment rather than the high-end audiophile or vintage-collector space. Its yellow-cone monitors are widely recognized in home studios and project studios, with a reputation for punchy, accessible, workhorse sound that has made the brand especially popular among music makers who want reliable reference speakers at a competitive price.
