Offered is „McIntosh MC 1.25 KW AC“ by McIntosh as second-hand device from the category „Power Amplifier“ on audio-markt.de - the online market place for high-end. The advert with the number 4828148155 ends on 20.12.2026 at 09:24 o'clock.
Across three recent comparable listings, €17,500 is exactly the median asking price, so this looks fair rather than a bargain or an ambitious ask. It sits well above the €8,839 lower quartile but below the €19,811 upper quartile, making condition and completeness the deciding factors.
The MC1.25KW is a serious, highly regarded monoblock: 1,200 watts into 2, 4, or 8 ohms, with McIntosh’s Autoformer, Quad Balanced circuit, Power Guard, and Sentry Monitor protection. It offers exceptional grip, effortless dynamics, and broad speaker-matching flexibility, though its roughly 72 kg weight makes collection and installation a real consideration. At this price, prioritize clean meter and chassis condition, reliable operation, original packaging, and included accessories; a well-kept example remains a compelling high-power buy.
