Offered is „MX 110“ by McIntosh as second-hand device from the category „Tube-Preamp“ on audio-markt.de - the online market place for high-end. The advert with the number 2242608826 ends on 20.12.2026 at 20:36 o'clock.
The MX110 is one of McIntosh’s landmark vintage tuner-preamplifiers, combining a capable tube preamp with a highly regarded FM section in one chassis. At €3,000, this example sits exactly at the median of 11 recent comparable listings: fair market money, neither a bargain nor an ambitious ask.
It remains a particularly appealing piece for a system that values character, flexibility, and vintage presentation. You get two phono inputs, independent bass and treble controls, useful loudness and phase functions, and a surprisingly serious FM tuner, all with the MX110’s warm, engaging tube sound. Since the price is fair rather than discounted, confirm that the tuner, stereo decoding, controls, and phono stages work properly, and ask about service history and the original wood case. If those check out, this is a sound buy for a clean, properly functioning unit.
