Selling Audeze maxwelll 1- ps5 versionAll packaging, cables and invoice availableGreat condition Thanks
Unknown condition makes the price worth verifying, but at A$250 this is a strong deal rather than merely fair. It sits below the A$281 25th-percentile comparable and well under the A$334 median, with plenty of room for a buyer to accept some cosmetic wear or a missing minor accessory.
The Maxwell remains an unusually capable wireless headset: its 90 mm planar drivers deliver genuinely hi-fi-weight sound, while the low-latency dongle, Bluetooth, wired options, detachable boom mic, and roughly 80-hour battery make it versatile. Before buying, confirm the correct PlayStation or Xbox version, test charging and both wireless modes, and check that the dongle, boom microphone, and cables are included. If those essentials are present and the battery is healthy, A$250 is an excellent buy.
Independent perspective — not a price guarantee. Always verify condition, accessories and provenance before purchase.
Audeze emerged in 2008 from a modest garage in Southern California's Orange County, USA, where founders including CEO Sankar Thiagasamundram and CTO Dr. Dragoslav Colich drew inspiration from a "2001: A Space Odyssey" poster—altering its spelling to evoke a "journey through audio." The company's origin traces to an encounter with an ex-NASA scientist whose flexible circuit material, originally for spacecraft, proved ideal for planar magnetic diaphragms, sparking a revolution in headphone design rooted in advanced materials science.
Audeze specializes in premium headphones, leveraging proprietary planar magnetic drivers and patented technologies like those in the LCD Origins series for unparalleled sound reproduction. Hand-assembled in their California facility, these open-back and closed-back models target audiophiles, Grammy-winning engineers, eSports pros, and gaming enthusiasts, with innovations extending to AI-powered spatial audio—eschewing amplifiers, speakers, or ancillary gear like DACs and cables.
Positioned firmly in the high-end market, Audeze commands respect as the most-awarded headphone brand worldwide, lauded for precision craftsmanship and the most accurate sound available. Its 2023 acquisition by Sony Interactive Entertainment bolsters PlayStation audio innovation while preserving independent multi-platform development, cementing its status among discerning buyers seeking uncompromised fidelity.
