Hallo zusammen,
The timing matters only slightly: the T 6 exists in different generations, so confirm which version this is and whether it matches your Teufel system. At €200, though, it lands exactly on the recent used-market median—fair rather than a bargain, and comfortably below the €354 upper quartile.
Its appeal is compact, unobtrusive bass: the down-firing 165 mm driver, wireless operation, and roughly 33 Hz low-end make it a sensible partner for a small-room Teufel soundbar or compact setup. The key buying check is compatibility, since T 6 variants are not universally interchangeable and some rely on wireless pairing rather than a conventional wired input. If the seller includes the correct pairing equipment and demonstrates quiet operation, stable connection, and no cabinet or driver damage, €200 is a reasonable buy; otherwise, negotiate toward the €152 lower-quartile level.
Independent perspective — not a price guarantee. Always verify condition, accessories and provenance before purchase.
Teufel is a German audio brand with roots in Berlin, where it was founded in 1979 by Carl Teufel. Emerging during the heyday of home hi-fi enthusiasm, the company built its heritage on engineering-driven innovation, initially focusing on custom speaker designs that prioritized precision and dynamic sound reproduction for discerning listeners.
The brand excels in active speakers and soundbars, alongside wireless multi-room systems, headphones, and portable Bluetooth options. While not delving into amplifiers, turntables, DACs, or cables, Teufel emphasizes integrated solutions with built-in amplification and app-controlled streaming, catering to modern home entertainment setups.
Positioned as a mid-tier contender with premium aspirations, Teufel enjoys a strong reputation in Europe for delivering high-value performance—bold bass, spacious imaging, and robust build quality—that punches above its price point. It appeals to knowledgeable buyers seeking reliable, stylish hi-fi without ultra-high-end excess, holding a solid niche in the competitive consumer audio market.
