Te koop nieuwe thöress df voorversterker en bijbehorende monoblokken. Voor een super scherpe prijs. Retail prijs set € 23950,00. De thöress dual function amplifier (dfamp) combineert een buizen v
Notable mainly as a complete Thöress valve system: the DF preamplifier paired with 845 single-ended monoblocks is a serious, distinctive combination rather than ordinary used hi-fi. At €11,950, though, it is clearly ambitious against the 12-comparable market: the median is €6,405, with the 75th percentile at €7,188. That makes this roughly €4,762 above the median, so the asking price needs exceptional condition, provenance, and completeness to justify it.
The attraction is real. The 845 monoblocks deliver roughly 20 watts of pure Class-A, zero-feedback single-ended-triode power, with the dimensional tone, texture, and immediacy that make Thöress gear special. The DF is also unusually versatile, combining a low-output-impedance line stage with headphone drive. This could be a superb, rare system for efficient speakers and listeners who value timbre over brute-force grip, but at this price insist on recent tube history, quiet operation, matching, original accessories, and documented service.
Independent perspective — not a price guarantee. Always verify condition, accessories and provenance before purchase.
Thöress, officially Thöress Puristic Audio Apparatus, emerged from Aachen, Germany, around 2000, founded by Reinhard Thöress shortly after his graduation in mathematics (with physics as a subsidiary) from RWTH Aachen University. This historic city near the borders of Germany, Belgium, and the Netherlands provided the backdrop for his laboratory, where he began crafting audio components driven by a passion for purist design. With over two decades of hands-on development, the brand embodies a solitary artisan's dedication to analog-era excellence.
The company specializes in high-end tube-based electronics, including hard-wired triode preamplifiers, power amplifiers, and integrated models like the EHT series, all featuring hand-wound transformers for exceptional purity. Thöress also produces highly efficient horn speakers and has ventured into niche analog territory with a precision mass-loaded turntable. This focused lineup eschews digital converters, headphones, or cables, prioritizing vacuum-tube warmth and mechanical simplicity over mass-market versatility.
Positioned as a niche boutique in the ultra-high-end hi-fi market, Thöress commands reverence among connoisseurs for its uncompromising, fully handcrafted craftsmanship and musical transparency. Far from mainstream or mid-tier, it appeals to discerning collectors seeking rare, emotionally engaging sound over raw power or specs, often through limited production and direct European distribution.
