2x GIK FreeStand Akustikwand / Gobo 60x146 – NEU & OVP

GIK Acoustics was founded in 2004 and is based in the United States, with manufacturing in both the US and Europe. It grew out of a practical, room-first approach to sound rather than a traditional electronics heritage, and has built its name in the acoustics sector rather than as a maker of source components or amplifiers. The brand is closely associated with treating listening rooms, studios, and home theaters.

Its core product line covers acoustic treatment rather than hi-fi electronics: absorptive panels, bass traps, diffusers, and hybrid solutions designed to manage reflections, low-frequency buildup, and overall room behavior. GIK also offers a range of modular products and finishes aimed at making treatment more effective and more acceptable in living spaces. In short, this is a room-acoustics specialist, not a brand for turntables, DACs, speakers, or cables.

In the market, GIK Acoustics sits in a respected niche position. It is widely regarded as a practical, performance-driven choice for serious enthusiasts, recording rooms, and home theater users who want measurable acoustic improvement without moving into ultra-boutique pricing. The brand’s appeal is less about luxury cachet and more about value, customization, and results, which has made it a familiar name among knowledgeable buyers who understand that room treatment can matter as much as the hardware itself.
