The used-market median is €123, with the upper quartile at €192, so €200 is slightly above the normal range rather than a bargain. For a 3 m example in excellent condition, the premium is understandable, but the asking price is still ambitious and leaves little room versus recent comparables.
The LoRad Silver 2.5 MK2 is a well-made, heavily shielded mains cable using 3 × 2.5 mm² silver-plated conductors; its main practical virtue is keeping mains interference away from nearby low-level signal cables, while the flexible construction is easier to live with than many rigid aftermarket cords. The 3 m length is useful for awkward installations and adds some value, but confirm the exact plug and IEC termination, plus intact strain relief and connectors. At €175–€185 it would look more compelling; €200 makes sense only if the length and condition are especially important to you.

Supra Cables emerged from Sweden in 1976, founded by engineer Tommy Jenving, a former Ericsson employee whose vision ignited the global audiophile cable revolution. Based in Ljungskile, the brand—operating under Jenving Technology—prioritized rigorous, measurement-driven design from the outset, producing its first dedicated loudspeaker cables when most enthusiasts relied on basic lighting flex. Jenving's passing in 2011 has not dimmed the company's ethos, which endures through in-house Swedish manufacturing and a steadfast "No-Nonsense Concept" that favors empirical testing over hype.
The brand specializes exclusively in high-quality cables, spanning categories like speaker wires, interconnects, power cords, and digital links including HDMI and DVI. Innovations such as Ply low-inductance speaker cables, tin-plated oxygen-free copper conductors to combat skin effect, square geometry designs, and patented shielded mains technology define their lineup. All products feature pale blue polyethylene sheathing for minimal dielectric absorption, flexibility, and environmental safety, with directional labeling ensuring optimal signal flow.
Supra occupies a respected mid-to-high-end niche among discerning hi-fi buyers, celebrated for Swedish engineering precision and value-driven performance. Awards like "Best in Test" and "Best Buy" underscore its reputation for scientifically verifiable improvements—low inductance, negligible skin effect—without unsubstantiated audible claims. As one of the earliest specialty cable pioneers, it appeals to knowledgeable audiophiles seeking rational, proprietary solutions over boutique extravagance.
