€190 is a fair-to-good price, sitting just above the €174 median and well below the €280 75th-percentile asking price for comparable Teufel listings. It is not a clear bargain without the exact speaker and Denon model, but the inclusion of both floorstanders, receiver, and cables gives the package sensible value if everything is working.
The appeal is convenience: Teufel’s larger speakers generally deliver an enjoyable, room-filling presentation, while Denon receivers are versatile for both music and home cinema. Cables included and a complete, ready-to-use system improve the proposition. Before buying, confirm the precise model numbers, test every input and both channels, check the speakers for damaged surrounds or tweeters, and verify the remote is present; those details could shift €190 from merely fair to an excellent buy.

Teufel is a German audio brand with roots in Berlin, where it was founded in 1979 by Carl Teufel. Emerging during the heyday of home hi-fi enthusiasm, the company built its heritage on engineering-driven innovation, initially focusing on custom speaker designs that prioritized precision and dynamic sound reproduction for discerning listeners.
The brand excels in active speakers and soundbars, alongside wireless multi-room systems, headphones, and portable Bluetooth options. While not delving into amplifiers, turntables, DACs, or cables, Teufel emphasizes integrated solutions with built-in amplification and app-controlled streaming, catering to modern home entertainment setups.
Positioned as a mid-tier contender with premium aspirations, Teufel enjoys a strong reputation in Europe for delivering high-value performance—bold bass, spacious imaging, and robust build quality—that punches above its price point. It appeals to knowledgeable buyers seeking reliable, stylish hi-fi without ultra-high-end excess, holding a solid niche in the competitive consumer audio market.
