Offered is „390 Neo“ by Moon as second-hand device from the category „Pre-Amplifier / Processor“ on audio-markt.de - the online market place for high-end. The advert with the number 5551884183 ends on 23.12.2026 at 15:28 o'clock.
Recent comparable Moon 390 asking prices center on €3,824, with the lower quartile at €2,938 and upper quartile at €6,161. At €3,100, this sits just above the 25th percentile: not a blowout bargain, but a clearly good buy if the condition is genuinely good and the unit is complete.
The 390 remains an unusually capable one-box control hub: a strong streamer/DAC and preamp with configurable MM/MC phono, balanced connectivity, headphone output, Roon readiness, and broad digital inputs including HDMI, AES/EBU, USB, coaxial, and optical. Its flexibility is the real attraction, especially for a system combining vinyl, streaming, television, and a power amplifier. Confirm the remote, Wi-Fi antennas, and reliable MiND/network operation, but at this price it deserves serious consideration rather than routine haggling.

Moon by Simaudio traces its roots to 1980, when Victor Sima, an Israeli émigré and qualified audio engineer, founded Sima Electronique in Canada with a deliberate mission to craft superior-sounding products at accessible prices. Initially targeting professionals, the brand—later renamed Simaudio—quickly captivated audiophiles for its sonic excellence and value. Sima retired in 1994, selling to Jean Poulin, whose leadership propelled the evolution into the premium MOON series, building on successes like the Celeste line and in-house innovations from their Quebec facilities.
The company specializes in high-performance electronics, excelling in amplifiers, integrated systems, preamplifiers, power amplifiers, and digital converters such as DACs. All products undergo meticulous hand-assembly, in-house chassis machining, and rigorous burn-in testing in Montreal-area factories, emphasizing precision engineering over mass production. While not venturing into speakers, turntables, headphones, or cables, MOON's lineup—from reference-grade flagships to the more approachable "1" series—delivers trickle-down technology for broad appeal.
Positioned firmly in the high-end market, Moon by Simaudio commands respect as a boutique Canadian powerhouse, blending audiophile purity with user-friendly design. Privately held and exported to 45 countries, it rejects esoteric tweaks in favor of natural, detailed sound that invites music lovers to truly immerse themselves, sustaining vibrant success without compromising its heritage of engineering excellence.
