£79 is a strong deal: it sits well below the £93 median and comfortably beneath the £49–£179 middle-market range’s lower quartile benchmark.
The Sanskrit 10th MK2 remains a very capable compact DAC, with USB, optical and coaxial inputs, a useful remote-controlled volume function, and clean, highly measured performance from its AK4493-based design. It can serve as a straightforward source or feed a power amplifier directly, which adds genuine system flexibility. Confirm that the remote, USB lead, and power arrangement are included, but at £79 this is a buying opportunity rather than a price to haggle over.
