This is a strong deal at US$110, sitting below the US$150 median and close to the US$100 25th-percentile mark among 153 recent comparable listings. For a known, working example, that is bargain territory rather than merely a fair ask.
The SA-100 is a useful, purpose-built subwoofer amplifier: its adjustable low-pass filtering, dedicated bass application, and substantial power make it a straightforward way to drive a passive sub or replace a failed plate amp. The 100/140-watt rating should suit many domestic systems, and the compact design makes installation flexible. Since the listing says condition is unknown, confirm that it powers up cleanly, passes signal, and has intact controls and terminals; if it does, US$110 leaves plenty of room for a worthwhile purchase.

Niles Audio traces its origins to 1978, when it launched in Miami, Florida, as a pioneer in switching systems for audio retailers. From these humble beginnings, the company evolved into a cornerstone of custom home audio, earning its stripes as a founding member of CEDIA and building a legacy of installer-focused innovation over four decades. Acquired by Linear LLC in recent years, Niles continues to uphold its heritage while expanding under new ownership.
The brand specializes in comprehensive whole-home audio solutions, offering over 500 products that span architectural speakers, amplifiers, receivers, automation controls, and accessories for seamless integration. Its portfolio emphasizes multi-room distribution, home theater systems, outdoor landscape audio, and cutting-edge options like the nearly invisible Cynema Soundfield in-wall soundbar, all designed for custom integrators to deliver professional-grade performance across indoor and outdoor spaces.
Niles holds a strong mid-to-high-end position in the custom installation market, renowned among savvy homeowners and professionals for reliable, high-quality distributed audio that blends effortlessly into modern living. Far from a vintage collector's niche, it remains a go-to for discerning buyers seeking robust, integrator-friendly systems that prioritize exceptional entertainment without compromise.
