A pair of the amazing Magico A3 floorstanding speakers in superb order RRP on the current versions are circa 28k,so these represent exceptional value for money Complete with the optional magnetic grilles, these speakers are truly world class One blemish on the rear of one (see pic) but a new factory replacement rear panel also included in the price Complete with original packagingboxes but due to weightvalue etc, offered on a collection only basis from N Essex
This is a buyer’s market: at £6,995, this A3 pair is a strong deal against the supplied used-market comparables. It sits below the £7,446 25th percentile and well under the £8,089 median, making it a genuine bargain if “excellent” condition is accurate.
The A3 remains a highly capable high-end floorstander, combining a sealed cabinet, superb imaging, taut low bass and exceptionally clean midrange and treble from its Nano-Tec drivers and beryllium tweeter. It is revealing without being inherently bright, though its 4-ohm load deserves a competent amplifier. At this price, clean cabinets, undamaged drivers, original grilles, spikes and proper crates would make the listing particularly compelling; otherwise, there is still ample value here.

Magico, a pinnacle of American high-end audio engineering, traces its origins to 1994 in Berkeley, California, where founder Alon Wolf pioneered the use of aluminum enclosures for loudspeakers. Drawing from aerospace and automotive construction principles, Wolf's vision emphasized rigid, non-resonant cabinets to achieve unprecedented transparency and accuracy in sound reproduction. The company consolidated operations in 2013 into a expansive 20,000-square-foot facility in Hayward, later expanding to 30,000 square feet, solidifying its commitment to in-house craftsmanship by a team of specialized machinists and technicians.
Magico specializes exclusively in loudspeakers, eschewing amplifiers, DACs, turntables, headphones, or cables to focus relentlessly on driver technology, enclosure design, and material science. Their products feature intricate internal frameworks that minimize vibrations, delivering reference-level dynamics and imaging prized by audiophiles seeking uncolored musical truth.
Positioned firmly in the ultra-high-end market, Magico commands reverence among discerning buyers for its technological vanguardism and consistent critical acclaim. Enthusiastic owners and a legacy of innovation ensure its stature as a boutique leader, where every speaker embodies precision engineering tailored for the ultimate listening experience.
