This is a fair ask, though not a bargain: EUR 160 sits just above the recent comparable median of EUR 145 and slightly exceeds the EUR 153 upper quartile. It is therefore at the strong end of the normal asking range, but not wildly overpriced if the listing covers the complete, working set.
The Theater 2 remains a capable home-cinema package, with lively dynamics, good output, and a substantial active subwoofer; the front speakers use 160 mm carbon-fibre mid/bass drivers and 25 mm fabric-dome tweeters. It was designed for rooms up to roughly 50 square metres and can deliver convincing film scale. At this money, confirm that the subwoofer, centre, surrounds, power cable, grilles, and all drivers are present and functioning—completeness is what makes EUR 160 worthwhile.
Independent perspective — not a price guarantee. Always verify condition, accessories and provenance before purchase.
Teufel is a German audio brand with roots in Berlin, where it was founded in 1979 by Carl Teufel. Emerging during the heyday of home hi-fi enthusiasm, the company built its heritage on engineering-driven innovation, initially focusing on custom speaker designs that prioritized precision and dynamic sound reproduction for discerning listeners.
The brand excels in active speakers and soundbars, alongside wireless multi-room systems, headphones, and portable Bluetooth options. While not delving into amplifiers, turntables, DACs, or cables, Teufel emphasizes integrated solutions with built-in amplification and app-controlled streaming, catering to modern home entertainment setups.
Positioned as a mid-tier contender with premium aspirations, Teufel enjoys a strong reputation in Europe for delivering high-value performance—bold bass, spacious imaging, and robust build quality—that punches above its price point. It appeals to knowledgeable buyers seeking reliable, stylish hi-fi without ultra-high-end excess, holding a solid niche in the competitive consumer audio market.
