At £45, this is a strong bargain against the comparable market: it sits well below the £129 median and even below the £28–£707 middle-market spread’s lower quartile threshold. The price looks especially attractive if it powers up cleanly and the correct CE-GB mains version is supplied.
This is a practical TOA commercial mixer amplifier rather than a domestic hi-fi piece, but it is a useful, dependable unit for paging, background music, workshop systems or a distributed speaker setup. It delivers 30W into 70V/100V line or 4-ohm loads, with three microphone inputs, two AUX inputs, muting and basic bass/treble control. Check that the seller demonstrates output, confirms the mains lead and terminal condition, and be clear that it is intended for PA use; at £45, a working example is well worth buying.

Line Magnetic Audio: Brand Overview
Line Magnetic Audio was established in 2005 in Zhuhai, China, by brothers Zheng Cai and Zheng Xi, both passionate audiophiles with deep roots in tube electronics. Zheng Cai's background as a former general manager and chief engineer at Cayin, combined with years spent studying and restoring classic Western Electric, Altec, and Jensen components, provided the technical foundation for the company. This heritage of reverse-engineering and understanding legendary 1950s American audio design remains central to Line Magnetic's identity and philosophy.
The brand specializes in tube-based electronics and speakers, with a product range spanning integrated amplifiers, preamplifiers, power amplifiers, DACs, phonostages, and horn-loaded loudspeakers. Line Magnetic is particularly renowned for its meticulous replicas of classic Western Electric, Altec, and Jensen designs, as well as proprietary field-coil drivers that have earned respect among both manufacturers and DIY enthusiasts. All products are hand-assembled using point-to-point wiring across two factories, reflecting an uncompromising manufacturing philosophy.
Line Magnetic occupies the high-end boutique segment, targeting discerning collectors and audiophiles who value vintage-inspired design married with modern engineering. The brand commands respect for its scholarly approach to audio history, rigorous material research, and unrelenting build quality. Rather than pursuing mass-market appeal, Line Magnetic has cultivated a devoted global following among those seeking authentic tube sound and meticulous craftsmanship.
