The RP-7000 MK2 is Reloop’s sturdy, feature-rich Super OEM deck, and at €385 it is clearly above your comparable-market 75th percentile of €367. That makes the asking price slightly ambitious rather than a bargain; the €141 median shows how far this particular listing sits above the broader used field. It could still be reasonable if exceptionally clean, complete, and recently serviced, but the premium needs explaining.
Its strengths are genuine: a powerful quartz direct-drive motor, adjustable torque, stable pitch control, three speeds, a height-adjustable tonearm base, and useful battle-position controls. It is a capable DJ and general vinyl deck, with solid construction and good speed stability. At €385, check that the cartridge, target light, cables, original packaging, and dust cover situation are clear, and test start/stop, pitch, tonearm bearings, and phono/line output. A lower price would make this much more compelling.

Reloop emerged in 1996 from Germany, founded by Robert Lauterwein and a team of music technology experts amid the rising DJ culture. The brand's early focus centered on turntables that quickly gained traction in the club scene, marking its entry into professional audio with products designed by DJs for DJs. This heritage of innovation has sustained Reloop for over two decades, evolving from niche DJ gear to a broader audio presence.
The company specializes in DJ and studio equipment, including controllers, turntables, and mixers, all developed in Germany and assembled by Asian partners. Reloop has expanded into hi-fi with its TURN series and models like the RP7, targeting vinyl enthusiasts and audio purists who demand precision engineering and high-fidelity sound. While not delving into amplifiers, speakers, DACs, headphones, or cables, its turntable lineup stands out for direct-drive performance and compatibility with pro cartridges from partners like Ortofon.
Reloop holds a solid mid-tier position in the DJ and entry-level hi-fi markets, prized for reliable, performance-driven gear that balances affordability with pro-grade features. It appeals to working DJs and vinyl revivalists rather than high-end audiophiles or vintage collectors, backed by a reputation for practical innovation over boutique exclusivity.
