Against 414 comparable used listings, €210 sits comfortably above the €154 median but below the €258 75th percentile, so it is a fair-to-good price rather than a bargain. It only becomes ambitious if the unit is actually a less desirable variant or has faults; for a clean, fully working M1200/M2200 module, the asking figure is defensible.
These are serious active subwoofer platforms, offering substantial amplifier power, adjustable crossover and phase, and genuinely deep bass around 25 Hz. The M1200 uses a 250 mm driver, while the M2200 steps up to 300 mm and is better suited to larger rooms and higher levels. At €210, verify which module it is, test for hum, intermittent controls, noisy operation and clean output, and confirm the power lead and all inputs are present. If it checks out, this is a worthwhile enthusiast buy.

Teufel is a German audio brand with roots in Berlin, where it was founded in 1979 by Carl Teufel. Emerging during the heyday of home hi-fi enthusiasm, the company built its heritage on engineering-driven innovation, initially focusing on custom speaker designs that prioritized precision and dynamic sound reproduction for discerning listeners.
The brand excels in active speakers and soundbars, alongside wireless multi-room systems, headphones, and portable Bluetooth options. While not delving into amplifiers, turntables, DACs, or cables, Teufel emphasizes integrated solutions with built-in amplification and app-controlled streaming, catering to modern home entertainment setups.
Positioned as a mid-tier contender with premium aspirations, Teufel enjoys a strong reputation in Europe for delivering high-value performance—bold bass, spacious imaging, and robust build quality—that punches above its price point. It appeals to knowledgeable buyers seeking reliable, stylish hi-fi without ultra-high-end excess, holding a solid niche in the competitive consumer audio market.
