Compared with the obvious alternative of buying a new integrated at this money, USD 2,799 is a fair used price for the A12 Classic, though not a bargain: it sits above the USD 2,550 median but below the USD 2,858 75th percentile. With only “unknown” condition, the price makes sense only if the unit is clean, fully tested, and complete.
The appeal is substantial power and versatility: 190 watts per channel, dual-mono construction, a tube-assisted preamp, MM/MC phono, DAC, HDMI, balanced XLR, and dual subwoofer outputs. It is a particularly strong match for demanding speakers and mixed analog/digital systems, combining solid-state grip with a slightly warmer presentation. Confirm the remote, Bluetooth module if advertised, meters, inputs, and both channels before buying; excellent condition would make this a sensible, well-equipped purchase.
