Age matters here: the R907 is a 2009–2010-era flagship, with no current replacement generation to dilute its appeal. At €2,850, though, this is clearly ambitious against the 27 comparable used listings: the median is €150 and the 75th percentile €257. Those comparables may mix other Jamo models, so they are not a perfect R907 benchmark, but the asking price still demands exceptional condition, provenance, and completeness.
The appeal is real: this is a rare, open-baffle dipole with twin 12-inch woofers, unusually spacious imaging, transparent midrange, and deep, surprisingly authoritative bass. It needs a large room, careful placement, and a capable amplifier, while its 4-ohm load deserves attention. At this money, inspect every driver, crossover, finish, grille, base, and terminal, and insist on an in-person audition. As a specialist collectible it may justify a premium, but €2,850 is a specialist’s price, not an obvious bargain.
