This is a seller’s market at this ask: £21,000 is far above the recent comparable median of £2,292 and even well beyond the 75th percentile at £2,973, so it reads as heavily ambitious rather than merely premium. For a used speaker cable, that puts the burden squarely on exceptional provenance, rarity, and execution.
If the cable is genuinely top-tier, well reviewed, and offered in clean condition with the right terminations and full length intact, the upside is in trying a statement-level cable without new-retail depreciation. Still, at this level a buyer should insist on exact length, connectors, original packaging if available, and proof there’s nothing odd about the listing; otherwise the gap to typical used pricing is too large to ignore.
Independent perspective — not a price guarantee. Always verify condition, accessories and provenance before purchase.
Esprit Audio traces its origins to 1996 in France, when electro-mechanics engineer and cable expert Richard Cesari began crafting high-fidelity cables out of personal passion for music and hi-fi. What started as prototypes for his own system soon drew interest from fellow enthusiasts, leading him to produce cables for friends and ultimately founding the brand with a singular mission: to create the world's finest interconnects using meticulously selected materials and assembly techniques honed over decades of research.
The company specializes primarily in premium audio cables—interconnects, speaker wires, and power cords—designed to preserve naturalness, harmonic richness, and dynamics in high-fidelity systems. More recently, Esprit has expanded into artisanal loudspeakers, applying Cesari's philosophy of precise material synergy to deliver components that unlock a system's full musical potential, from source to speakers.
Positioned as a niche boutique in the high-end market, Esprit earns acclaim for its French artisanal craftsmanship and obsessive focus on signal integrity, appealing to discerning audiophiles who prioritize transparency and refinement over mass production. With over 25 years of evolution, it stands as a respected choice for elevating elite setups without compromise.
