Offered is „Bel Canto Dac 2.7 & REF500S Endstufe inkl. OVP“ by Bel Canto as second-hand device from the category „Transistor-Poweramp“ on audio-markt.de - the online market place for high-end. The advert with the number 4916066832 ends on 30.12.2026 at 13:05 o'clock.
The timing matters: this is an older, 2011-era DAC/preamp paired with a still highly capable compact power amplifier, rather than current-generation Bel Canto electronics. At €850, though, it is a strong deal: that is well below the €650–€3,642 comparable range’s midpoint, and it sits close to the 25th-percentile €650 mark. With original packaging included, the package looks especially compelling if both units are fully functional.
The DAC 2.7 remains a versatile control centre, with USB, AES/EBU, optical and coaxial inputs, digital volume control, and a useful headphone output. The REF500S brings effortless dynamics, very firm woofer control and substantial output—250 W into 8 ohms and 500 W into 4 ohms—while running cool and efficiently. Check remote operation, display, input switching, channel balance and amplifier noise, but there is no reason to be suspicious at this price: this looks like a genuine system-building bargain.
