McIntosh L12 cabinet for sale in very good condition. One veneer chip on the front top left corner that was re-glued at some point and could probably be touched up better. Two of the four strips that hold the expanded metal grate to the cabinet are missing.Otherwise a beautiful example.
At USD 250, this McIntosh L12 is a strong deal, sitting below the USD 265 25th-percentile mark and well under the USD 373 median for recent comparable listings. It is priced like a buy rather than a gamble, assuming the cabinet is complete and presentable.
The L12 is a desirable original McIntosh wood cabinet, valued for its walnut finish, distinctive slant-leg base, and Panloc compatibility with a wide range of classic McIntosh components. It can also suit compatible non-Panloc equipment, including the MC2150. Check that the Panloc hardware, feet, vents, and finish are intact; replacement or restoration can erase some of the savings, but at USD 250 there is enough headroom for minor cosmetic work.
