A strong deal: at £1,129, this sits below the £1,146 median and close to the £1,071 lower quartile for recent used examples, making it an attractive buy if the condition checks out.
The DMP-A8 is a particularly capable one-box front end, combining streamer, DAC and a genuinely useful balanced analogue preamp with XLR/RCA connectivity, R2R volume control and extensive digital inputs. It also offers high-resolution playback, HDMI ARC, room-friendly DSP and optional SSD storage, so it can replace several separate components without feeling compromised. With condition listed as unknown, confirm the screen, remote, networking, firmware operation and included accessories; otherwise, this is priced like a worthwhile opportunity rather than a gamble.

Eversolo Audio Technology Co., Ltd., a Chinese brand backed by Zidoo Technology Co., Ltd., emerged in the mid-2010s with roots in seasoned HiFi expertise. Its core founding team brings years of experience in development and management across the industry, channeling that heritage into innovative audio solutions. Without a single standout founder, Eversolo draws strength from its collaborative R&D prowess, spanning audio decoding, analog circuits, acoustic tuning, amplifiers, and system integration.
The brand concentrates on digital HiFi essentials, excelling in network music streamers, high-resolution DACs, integrated amplifiers, and headphone amplifiers. Standouts like the DMP-A10 exemplify this focus, blending streaming versatility with premium digital-to-analog conversion and robust power amplification. Eversolo sidesteps entry-level gear, prioritizing playback devices that deliver cutting-edge performance without venturing into speakers, turntables, or cables.
Positioned firmly in the mid-range market with high-end aspirations, Eversolo earns acclaim for its sophisticated technology, precise manufacturing, and exceptional value. Audiophiles praise its neutral soundstaging, dynamic authority, and immersive realism, backed by global awards like EISA Hi-Fi Product of the Year. This rising contender appeals to discerning buyers seeking reliable, future-proof HiFi that punches above its price.
