A$223 is a fair price, sitting above the A$198 median but still below the A$236 75th percentile for 45 comparable used listings. It is not a bargain, but it is defensible if the unit is complete and working properly.
The DX3 Pro remains a highly capable compact DAC/headphone amp, with clean, transparent conversion, USB, optical, coaxial and Bluetooth inputs, RCA preamp output, and enough headphone power for many demanding models. The remote and flexible output modes add genuine convenience. Because this is the older DX3 Pro rather than the newer Pro+, confirm the exact version, check for the original power supply and remote, and test the display, Bluetooth, USB input and headphone jack before paying the upper-half market price.
