Had a level 1 and 3 upgrade by fidelity audio so basically you are getting the cd player for tless than the he cost of the level 3 upgrade. That said, the 640C is still a respected, musical CD player with a strong reputation for clean, engaging sound and solid build. If it’s genuinely excellent, has been well cared for, and comes with the right remote and original packaging, it may suit someone who wants a tidy example rather than the cheapest route in; otherwise, I’d hold out for a better-priced one.
