This is a respected old-school Linn floorstander, and at A$650 it lands a touch above the A$574 median but still comfortably inside the usual spread, between the A$415 25th percentile and A$734 75th percentile. That makes it fair, not a bargain, and not ambitious either.
What makes it worthwhile is the Linn recipe: clean timing, very coherent midrange, and a presentation that tends to reward good amplification and placement rather than brute force. In good condition, it’s the sort of speaker that can still punch above its asking price if the drivers are original and the cabinets are tidy. Worth checking for foam/surround age, tweeter output, and any crossover work, but if it’s genuinely clean, this looks like a solid buy.
