Yamaha RX-V3900 (PARTS) Integrated amplifier Have a Yamaha RX-V3900 that is not functioning due to an issue with one of the power boards. This board was removed to attempt repair but unsuccessfully. This board can be included with amp. Before throwing in the tip or attempting to recycle, thought it worthwhile posting here for free should someone be looking for parts or have some other use for it. This is very late-generation AV gear, and at A$40 it’s a strong bargain if you want it for parts, bench use, or a donor chassis rather than a full working theater receiver. A RX-V3900 in working condition was a premium 7-channel Yamaha model with serious power and HD-audio decoding, so the parts value alone can justify the ask, while a normal used working unit would sit far above this price.
For a buyer, the upside is straightforward: solid transformer/amp sections, useful DSP and HDMI-era internals, and enough vintage-AVR complexity to keep spares valuable.
