The stand comes with Nordorst pulsar points to isolate the rack from ground born vibrations, say from loudspeakers. Each self is further isolated from each other by a ‘mini’ inline version of Nordost pulsar points. Difficult to see from the picture. I have used it to accommodate 9 components, e.g. on the bottom shelf I had 2 x 49Kg amps and a heavy 30Kg dac/pre. So, a total of almost 130kg on bottom shelf alone.
